MOVE IT MONDAY with MIKI 💪🏼🤸🏽
Tips: Spread your knees as wide as mat.Let your belly rest between your thighs and your forehead on the floor. Gently stretch your spine, thighs, hips, and ankles.
Latissimus Doris stretch
Keep your elbows on the floor, bring your arms over head and palms face to your body.Bring your arms back.
The latissimus dorsi is the major muscle of the back involved in arm extension and internal rotation of the arm. Any pulling movement such as rows, pull-ups, etc. will involve the latissimus dorsi. In most peoples daily life, activities like driving or sitting at a desk can cause the latissimus dorsi to become tight, which impairs movement of the arm at the shoulder. Stretching this muscle can restore muscle balance and improve performance 🤩👌🏼
TRICK TUESDAY 💫

LOWER BACK PAIN can be related to tight hamstrings.
That tightness will reduce your pelvis's mobility and put pressure on your lower back. Strengthening and stretching the hamstrings can prevent them from becoming too tight and provide extra support for the back and pelvis. Keeping the hamstrings loose will also lower the chance of straining or tearing the muscle fibres during physical activities.
The Stretch Studios team is here to help you bring back that looseness to reduce your chance of injury.

If you move better, you feel better; if you feel better, you train better.
Shoulders that feel rounded and turned inwards are most likely an effect of tight pec muscles. Doing regular Pec stretches can improve your posture and increase the range of motion in your shoulders and thoracic spine.

Assisted Adductor Stretch.
Is your range of movement where it should be?
A stiff and restricted body is something you can overcome.
If so, you may need some assisted stretching to get your body back on track.
The stretch shown here is an excellent example of what we do at Stretch Studios - this is the Assisted Adductor Stretch.
The adductor and gracilis muscles, of the inner thigh, play a significant role in stabilising the body and help you stand, walk, and balance.
If you move better, you feel better; if you feel better, you train better. Contact us today if you want to know more.
