My happy place - the beach 🏝️.

Today it is Bushland Beach in Townsville.

If we allow it - the simple things can give our minds a break from all the inner chaos.

Watching Gigi dig for crabs 🦀 while still keeping her ball close brings a big smile to my whole being today.

She worked hard this week, today is her day off!

Even though Gigi and I have recently returned to city living (temporarily) we are doing our best to find the beauty in it.

While tackling supermarkets again is not something we enjoy we did find this amazing dragon fruit flower hanging over the new neighbours fence, a spot of beauty on an otherwise grey and unwelcoming fence.

We have the support of some amazing friends, both new and old. Being amongst friends and family is taking some of the angst out of being back amidst traffic, noise and crowds. We are consciously reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

Social connections are just so crucial to good mental health and that is what our focus is right now.

Shout out of thanks and gratitude to Chet’s and Blaen (pictured with ) below.

As new residents of the Gigi and I are so happy to be able to meet local businesses who are service dog friendly.

The lovely Cheye who served us was super friendly and both she and Blaen dutifully “ignored” and did their best not to distract my super hard working, dedicated and lovely Gigi who has only had eyes
For me ALL day.

What a champion dog and champion staff R&J Batteries in Tolga. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We love our new location, back to that small community vibe, I think we’ve found our tribe. ❤️

"Private people will post all day and still have a life you know nothing about"

This is a reminder that not everything people share reflects their full reality. It teaches us to respect boundaries, avoid assumptions, and not judge others based solely on what they post. It’s also a reminder to value your privacy—share what you’re comfortable with, but keep certain aspects of your life just for yourself. Not everything needs to be public.

Private people don’t share everything about their lives, even if they post a lot. Don’t assume you know everything about someone, and it’s okay to keep some things private for yourself.

2025: the dream is coming to life!

The WWU Tribal Land is officially

underway 24/7. Living on our land is magical, especially under the full moon.

Arrived post Christmas to 5 acres of mowing, frogs croaking in the wetland and pretty face wallabies and grey kangaroos feeling frisky!

Stay Tuned folks! More native tree planting and veggie gardens going in soon.

Gates open to the public in September…..
