Our Deadly Start program gives high school students a real pathway into health and community services, before they've even left school. In partnership with Equity Strategy, we aim to deliver a culturally supportive and flexible pathway into professions like nursing, midwifery, oral health, and allied health.

Our Deadly Start HLT23221 Certificate II students from our Windsor campus recently got a glimpse into their future with a visit to the Royal Brisbane Hospital 🏥

As part of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Deadly Start Program, they explored what life might be like as school-based trainees and had the privilege of sharing lunch and an inspiring yarn with Roslyn Boland, Director of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services at the hospital.

Roslyn’s words were powerful, encouraging these young people to walk proudly into their futures in health. We couldn’t be more proud of their journey so far 💚
