Type: resistance training using weights, High intensity either low impact or high impact, compound movement kettle bell, Swiss, bosu balls, trx, boxing and calisthenics training. You will practice and master your own athletic moves for athletic tone and performance. Just what your doc ordered. ✅

Over half the world's population isn't getting enough vital micronutrients like calcium, iron, and vitamins C & E, according to a new global study led by Harvard, UCSB, and GAIN — published in The Lancet Global Health.

🔬 This is the first-ever study to assess micronutrient intake by age and s*x in 185 countries, highlighting widespread deficiencies that can lead to serious health issues like blindness, immune dysfunction, and pregnancy complications.

📉 Key findings:
🔾 68% lack iodine
🔾 67% lack vitamin E
🔾 66% lack calcium
🔾 65% lack iron
🔾 Women face higher risks for vitamin B12, iron & iodine deficiency
🔾 Calcium intake is critically low among ages 10–30, especially in Asia & Africa

Helping Kids Have a Healthier Relationship with Sugar đŸ“đŸ„Š

Wednesday morning, my 4-year-old son and I had a great chat on 3RPP FM with Rachel Singleton at 8:30am AEST, talking about how we can help kids reduce their processed sugar intake.

We discussed how much sugar is hidden in our staples, why artificial sweeteners aren't the answer, and how we manage cravings in our home. Here's the simple 3-step approach we follow:

1. Pause and ask: Am I just thirsty?
Often, cravings are actually a sign of dehydration.

2. Choose something natural.
Fresh fruit, natural yogurt (no preservatives), or dried fruit without added sugar.

3. Still hungry? Go for a complete nutrition meal.
That means something homemade (or carefully selected when out) using real ingredients and celebrating VCP: Vegetables, Carbs, and Protein.

If we overdo it on chocolate or ice cream (because life happens!), we don’t get harsh on ourselves. We simply return to a complete, nourishing meal next time. It keeps us balanced and feeling good.

We also stay active and move our bodies daily to help stabilise sugar levels and metabolise food well.

Most importantly, kids learn by watching. When they see us consistently making healthy choices, they naturally pick up those habits too.

Let’s raise a generation that understands how to fuel themselves well đŸ’ȘđŸŒ±

Why I Wrote My Book in 2007—and What I Learned from the 6AM Go-Getters at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club

🔑Back in 2007, I wrote a book called The Five Pillar System to a Healthy Mind and Body.

It wasn’t just another health guide.
It was born out of a deeper observation:
My clients didn’t just want to lose weight.

📈They wanted to belong to a group of high performers—people who not only stayed fit but ran successful businesses, led in high-pressure jobs, and somehow still found time to take care of their bodies.

⛔At the Royal Brighton Yacht Club, I witnessed this firsthand.
Mornings there weren’t quiet. They were electric.
6AM sessions filled with CEOs, lawyers, doctors, sailors, and entrepreneurs—many of whom had built empires, managed teams across time zones, and pushed their limits on wild seas.

🍏What did they all have in common?
They chose a healthy lifestyle—daily.
Some played the “work hard, play hard” game—celebrating with a bottle of wine post-sail. Others stretched quietly, recovered over a nutritious meal, and hit the gym the next day.

đŸ’ȘThere were members with triple heart surgeries and knee reconstructions who showed up to reclaim their strength.

đŸ‹đŸ»â€â™€ïžAnd then, there were those who didn’t need a coach—but chose to train with me because they saw value in movement and capacity-building.

The biggest insight I had while writing that book?
Long-term vitality and success isn’t built on cardio alone.
