Today, Drysdale Grove Aged Care came together for a special farewell. 💛 With cupcakes, laughter, and a resident-run show, we celebrated the care, dedication, and memories they’ve shared with our community and will always appreciate everything they have done for us.

Last week, a group of residents came together for one of our much-loved cooking afternoons and as always, it was full of smiles, shared stories, and delicious creations!

These baking days are a real highlight at Drysdale Grove. They're not just about what comes out of the oven - they’re about the joy of being together, chatting about old recipes, and enjoying the little moments that spark laughter and connection.

With summer just around the corner, our residents have been making the most of the sunshine and fresh air by getting their garden beds ready for the new season.

From veggies to vibrant flowers, there's nothing quite like digging in the soil and watching something grow.

Gardening not only brings joy, but also supports wellbeing, relaxation, and connection with nature. We can’t wait to see everything in full bloom! 🌱🌸

Yesterday we celebrated International Men’s Day by doing what brings us joy - sharing a meal, enjoying mateship, and having a laugh over a game together.

Lunch was filled with great conversations and smiles, followed by a fun and friendly activity that brought out our competitive side (just a little!).

Forming new friendships and strengthening connections is what days like this are all about. Cheers to the wonderful gentlemen in our community - your spirit, stories, and humour bring so much to Drysdale Grove.

💛 World Kindness Day Outing 💛

To celebrate World Kindness Day, our residents enjoyed a lovely bus trip to the Barwon Heads Hotel.

Spending time with friends over lunch and laughter was the perfect way to mark the day. Friendships and social connection play a big role in supporting overall wellbeing and preventing isolation.

Our residents have been treated to some wonderful entertainment lately, including live music performances and a visit from a very colourful ventriloquist act, complete with costumes and plenty of laughs!

Music has a magical way of bringing people together, and it was heartwarming to see so many enjoying the tunes, sharing stories, having a dance, and joining in on the fun.

🐎 Spring Carnival Fun Thanks to the Men’s Shed! 🎉

A big thank you to the wonderful gentlemen from our Drysdale Grove Men’s Shed group, who put their skills to work creating this fantastic horse racing equipment, just in time for the Spring Carnival fun!

Our residents have absolutely loved getting involved in the races, with plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and toe-tapping energy all around.

Handmade with care and built for fun, this setup has brought so much joy to our community. We’re grateful for the support and creativity shared with us!

Today at Drysdale Grove, we pause to honour and remember the brave men and women who served, sacrificed, and gave so much for our country.

Together, residents and staff took a quiet moment of reflection to pay our respects, share stories, and wear our red poppies with pride.

May we always remember their courage.
May we never forget their sacrifice.
