🏉🔥 WHAT. A. GAME. 🔥

OG’s Brettboy n Lisa absolutely brought the ENERGY today in their Super Tag game with Macquarie Raiders 🏉

🔹 Brettboy was up and ready to rumble before the sun was even fully up 😂 Keen as always, bouncing off the walls from 7am n counting down the seconds until game time. This bloke lives and breathes his footy, so getting the chance to pull on the jersey, hit the field and rip in means EVERYTHING to him 🙌🏽

🔹 And then there’s Lisa ❤️

At first, Lisa was hesitant. After not playing sport since school, stepping onto that field was a massive thing. But week by week we’ve watched something incredible happen…her confidence, speed and ability have exploded!

👉🏽 Today we saw the fighter and the sportsperson inside her shine BRIGHT🔥

AND THE BEST PART?

🚨 BOTH Brettboy AND Lisa scored tries today!!! 🚨

Massive congratulations to both of you - all of us at Indidg Connect are so proud to support you both

if you don't engage, make eye contact, listen to their story, what they need and if you don't really see them!

🔆 GREAT support coordination needs to be done person centred which means you come first and the relationship with you IS the most important

your days are filled with challenges, pot holes and bumps in the road, legislation changes, interpreting reports, navigating complex issues and meeting people where they are

🔥 having Sharnah onboard has been a GAME CHANGER for Indidg Connect's support coordination

she's deadly this one!

she's the kind of Support Coordinator that just gets IT DONEEEEEEEE, in writing, clearly and with the full understanding of our participant

🗓️ our Monday meetings are our planning sessions (sometimes held on Tuesday 😅) and I know with confidence and complete trust she'll be in her office GETTING IT DONE!

🔅 onboarding two new participants
🔅 implementing three new speech therapists - no long wait lists!
🔅 implementing a psychologist face 2 face
🔅 finalising evidence for a new diagnosis
🔅 completed a Functional Capacity Assessment for a participant
🔅 organised fishing day supports for an isolated participant to build engagement trust

How wonderful is time spent bonding, growing and learning but most importantly SLOWING DOWN
