Influenza (flu) is serious, but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers you and your child the best protection from serious illness.

The yearly flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years, Aboriginal children aged 6 months and over, and children with serious health conditions. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.

If your child is 2, 3 or 4 years old, they can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW. It is gentle, painless, and needle-free.

✨ We’re so excited to announce that we will be welcoming Dr Natalie Holden will to our practice! ✨

Natalie will be moving back to Dubbo from the Mornington Peninsula to reunite with her husband, Dane, a general surgeon who has loved being part of the local community over the past year. She’s also thrilled to be closer to her family in Gulgong and the surrounding region. Nat will be joining us after the Easter school holidays with a starting date of the 21st April 2026.

A graduate of the University of New South Wales (2007), Natalie brings a wealth of experience from her time working across Dubbo, Mudgee, and Frankston.

She has a passion for women’s and children’s health, and has completed a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital, as well as a Certificate in Family Planning and Sexual Health.

Natalie also offers comprehensive care in:

She’s truly looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and warmly welcoming new patients into her care.

✨ Welcome Dr Georgia Pace ! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Dr Georgia Pace, our new GP Registrar, to the Health Hub team. A Geurie local, Georgia studied medicine at Western Sydney University and always knew she wanted to return home to practice in rural and regional Australia.

She began her medical career at Dubbo Hospital in 2023, gaining broad clinical experience and a strong skill set she now brings to general practice. Georgia is known for her warm, friendly approach and commitment to holistic, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on lifestyle and long-term wellbeing.

Her dedication to patients and teamwork was recognised when she received Staff Member of the Year at Western NSW Health in 2025.

Georgia is passionate about caring for her community and looks forward to supporting patients at Health Hub. Please join us in welcoming her! 💙

✨ Welcome Dr Carley Reed ✨

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Carley Reed, who officially joined our team last week as a GP registrar.

Carley completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Western Sydney University in 2023 and is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Internal Medicine with the University of Sydney. She has a special interest in Mental Health and Paediatrics and is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care to patients of all ages.

Having grown up in Lithgow, Carley has a strong connection to rural communities and a deep understanding of both the benefits and challenges of rural living. Throughout her medical training, she has remained committed to pursuing a career in rural medicine and is excited to be joining and contributing to the Dubbo community.

Just a friendly reminder that our Practice will be closed this coming Monday 26th Jan for the Australia Day long weekend.

If you are unwell and need acute GP care the After Hours GP clinic will be open:

Saturday 24 January 2pm – 5:45pm
Sunday 25 January 2pm – 5:45pm
Monday 26 January 2pm – 5:45pm

They are located at the Dubbo Base Hospital Day Surgery Unit – turn right at the main doors and continue down past both lots of double doors.
