πŸŒ™ Registrations Now Open | Club Dubbo CEO & Community Sleepout 2026 πŸ’™

A warm bed.
A safe home.
A meal on the table.

For many, these are everyday comforts. For others in our community, they are daily uncertainties.

On Thursday 18 June 2026, community leaders, businesses, organisations, and local residents will come together for the Club Dubbo CEO & Community Sleepout 2026 β€” a powerful community initiative raising awareness and vital support for individuals and families experiencing hardship across our region.

Proudly delivered through a partnership between Club Dubbo and Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre Ltd (Connecting Community Services), this initiative is about more than one night outdoors β€” it is about compassion, leadership, dignity, and community action.

πŸ’™ We are now inviting:
βœ” Individuals
βœ” Community groups
βœ” Businesses & organisations
βœ” Sponsors & community partners
βœ” Donation-only supporters

to register their interest and be part of this meaningful initiative.

Whether you choose to participate in the Sleepout, donate, sponsor, or simply help spread awareness β€” every contribution helps support local people doing it tough through community-led assistance programs in partnership with Help A Mate Dubbo.

πŸ‘‰ Register your interest here:
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/HDFrcf8CRs

πŸ’™ If you would prefer not to complete the registration form but still wish to support the initiative, you can donate directly via the MyCause campaign link provided within the form.

πŸ“² You can also scan the QR code on the event flyer.

πŸ”” Reminder: All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Together, we are not just raising funds β€” we are strengthening our community, creating awareness, and reminding people that they are not alone.

πŸŒ™ COMMUNITY SLEEPOUT 2026 | CLUB DUBBO
For one night, we sleep outside. For too many, it’s every night.

There are people in our community in Dubbo, NSW quietly facing impossible choices every day β€” choosing between food and bills, warmth and survival, dignity and hardship.

On Thursday 18 June 2026, the Club Dubbo CEO & Community Sleepout 2026 will bring together community leaders, businesses, organisations, and local residents for one shared purpose: to stand in solidarity with people experiencing hardship in our community and ensure they are not forgotten.

This initiative is proudly delivered through a partnership between Club Dubbo and Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre Ltd (Connecting Community Services), working together to strengthen local support across the region.

A sincere thank you to Club Dubbo CEO Brett Lane, Amy Lane, and the entire Club Dubbo team for their leadership, compassion, and commitment to real community impact.

Every dollar raised stays local and directly supports individuals and families experiencing hardship, including practical assistance such as food relief and essential support services through local providers including Help A Mate Dubbo.

You do not need to attend the Sleepout to make a difference.

You can:
β€’ Join us on the night
β€’ Donate online
β€’ Share this campaign

Sometimes hope begins with something small: a meal, a conversation, a community that cares.

πŸ‘‰ Donations are now open:

This is more than a fundraising event β€” it is a community movement built on compassion, dignity, and connection.

πŸ’™ Together, we can make a real difference.

πŸŒ™ SOMETHING POWERFUL IS COMING TO DUBBO…

There are moments that don’t need to speak loudly to be felt.

This is one of them.

Something is beginning to take shape in our community β€” not just an event, but a shared experience designed to deepen understanding, awareness, and connection.

It reflects a reality that exists quietly around us every day, even when it is not always seen.

πŸ’™ More will be revealed soon.

For now, we simply invite reflection.

Because before action comes awareness.
And before change comes the willingness to see.

From vision to realityβ€”Dubbo’s future is moving stronger, together. βœ¨πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ

In December 2025, Connecting Community Services (Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre Ltd.) put forward a vision: to grow the Orana Gymnastics Academy (OGA) into a more inclusive, accessible, and community-driven space.

In April 2026, that vision became realityβ€”$175,000 secured through the NSW Government Infrastructure Grants Program. πŸŽ‰

This investment is more than fundingβ€”it’s a commitment to our children, our families, and our community’s wellbeing. πŸ’™ It will deliver a strengthened facility where participation, confidence, and connection can thrive.

Michelle Redden, Chief Executive Officer, reflected on the impact:
β€œThis funding wonderfully supports the development of so many children within our community and surrounding towns. It allows us to continue creating a professional, inclusive space open not only to our gymnasts, but also to schools, childcare services, and organisations supporting people with disability.”

β€œImportantly, it also enables us to provide scholarships to children experiencing financial hardshipβ€”ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate, belong, and grow.” 🌱

NSW Minister for Gaming and Racing, The Hon. David Harris MP, said:
β€œThese grants support local communities to create or upgrade facilities that bring people together, strengthen relationships, and improve health and wellbeing through participation in sport and recreation.”

We were proud to mark this milestone alongside Dugald Saunders MP, Stephen Lawrence MLC , and Mayor Josh Black- Dubbo Regional Council, together with our Board, dedicated OGA team, and inspiring young gymnasts. πŸ‘

For over 50 years, Connecting Community Services has stood at the heart of Dubboβ€”supporting people, strengthening connections, and creating opportunities.

This is not just an investment in infrastructure.
It’s an investment in belonging, opportunity, and the future of our community. 🌟
