This Sunday will be short & long meditations, dharma talk & discussion…..meditation on the elements.

Weekly meditation group in West End, QLD on Sunday nights 6 - 8pm. Teachers offer talks on meditation practice and mindfulness in daily life. By donation.

When our mind is untrained and uncontrolled, our thoughts jump from one thing to the next, never stopping for a moment of peace.
Meditation helps train the mind by identifying unhelpful thoughts and habits that end up causing us suffering. Join Bhante Akaliko for this 1 day meditation retreat and explore how to work with the monkey mind.
This retreat is suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.

Need to take a step back to regain some peace and balance in your life?

You are invited to join a MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
& PRACTICES SESSION.

Mindfulness is living in the present moment or present moment awareness. Mindfulness protects our mind from unhelpful thoughts and emotions. Without mindfulness we simply act out all the various patterns and habits of our conditioning. The great power of mindfulness allows us to abandon what is unwholesome and cultivate the good.
When we live in the present moment our mind is stress free. This gives health & well being to our mind and body

We will be doing breath meditation, walking meditation, meditation on sensations, meditations on the 5 senses and loving kindness meditation.

Sama is a buddhist nun. She has been practising insight meditation and mindfulness for many years and has studied under many teachers.

This mindfulness day is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.
