Dubbo Community Men's Shed Inc. OUR MISSION IS: "To advance mental health and prevent or relieve social isolation for members of our Shed"

The Shed has become an integral part of the Dubbo community, with requests for assistance with various projects from all aspects of the community. Projects include Buddy Seats for all local schools, Charity Santa's Chair, Local Childcare Centres, Sports Clubs, Overseas charity organisations to assist the poor and impoverished, to mention only a few.

Take a look at these top blokes!

Peter (left) and Robert from the Dubbo Community Men's Shed Inc. put in some hard yakka on our therapeutic garden this morning. (We think they might be in training for the fully laden wheelbarrow lifting championships.)

We've still got a long way to go, but projects like this just wouldn't be possible without community-minded people like these two. Big thanks Peter and Robert from everyone at the community legal centre.

A big thank you to all those that turned up to celebrate Anzac Day at the Western Plains Zoo and to celebrate the installation of the Catafalque Party... a big thanks to the zoo staff who installed them, and a big thank you to all involved with making them...
The day was to also dedicated to Andrew Livingston who passed away this Feb. Andrew was a returned soldier who supported Anzac Day and all who passed before, he was a great member of the Shed and was a good Treasurer, he will be sadly missed...☚ī¸

Our Story

The Shed has become an integral part of the Dubbo community, with requests for assistance with various projects from all aspects of the community. Projects include Santa's Chair for Rotary, Various Businesses, the Base Hospital, Local Schools & Childcare Centres, Various Charities and Disability Groups, Overseas charity organisations to assist with the poor and impoverished to mention only a few. We assist people who find it hard to afford to pay full price to fix things, we also make various items that are of a one of nature, something that cannot normally be bought from a shop. So if you need to have something made of a bespoke nature that you cannot find in a normale shop come and see us at the shed.
