Difficult to entice adolescents to go to the Theatre? This performance will do the trick? Tricks, stunts, acrobatics, physical theatre - you name it, they'll do it. So absurd, even savvy cynical adolescents will get it.

Local Paul Woodhead, founding director of Circus West, has come out of retirement (??) for Statera Circus Youth Arts Initiative. Eight local ex-circus young artists will be opening the show!🤸‍♀️🤸🤸‍♂️

Abby warming up for her penultimate silks performance in Chicago with Dubbo Theater Company. Five wonderful performances so far, last two today from a young artist working an impressive level of choreography and awareness. So proud of her work and her contribution to Circus West.

Circus West 31+ Years. 2022 Celebration. November 5th.
We are sending the call out for those wanting to help plan, organise and run this event. We want it to be a wonderful get-together and a chance to show off some of what we/you can do. We will be displaying posters and mementos from past years with a general chance to chat and maybe try out some skills if you want. This will be followed by a theater/café style session so we will need definite numbers of people coming before the event.
© We are hoping to have a catered (very minimal cost) event with small table/chair combos around the ring and aerial rig, giving the opportunity for performances during the event.
© If you have photos of Circus West events and/or performers? We are not sure yet what will happen at our celebration come party, but one thing we'd like to have is a stream of photos on projection during the event, to spark memories and conversations. CW was always about people connecting, forming relationships to strengthen each other and these conversations will make our event that much stronger.
© If you have other ideas on what we can do on the day we would really appreciate you sharing them with us. We will of course provide the opportunity for performance to those of you who wish to put it out there 🙂
