Recently A/Prof Bala was invited by Alcon, a leading Ophthalmic company, to share his expertise, skill and knowledge about cataract surgery for eye surgeons around the globe.

Behind this serious face is a man who shares with all his heart without gatekeeping or holding back, makes everything seem so easy and effortless that even the production team believed they could be surgeons too 😂

But on a serious note, being a surgeon isn't about accolades and awards (even though he's got so many we don't know where to put them all). It's about being the best surgeon for your patients, being realistic about outcomes and expectations and at the end of the day, sharing experiences so colleagues can be the best for their patients too.

And that's what we're all about here at Personaleyes.
