Our herb and veggie gardens are getting a little refresh and we'd love your help! If you have extra herb cuttings, veggie seedlings or easy care edible plants, we'd be so grateful for a donation.
Every plant helps us grow fresh food in our home cooked meals for our guests and their families. 🫛🫜🫚

Happy New Year! For those of you who may have celebrated a little too enthusiastically, here are some wise words from Baz. (Well, not actually Baz’s words, but, watch any dog, and realise that they know everything there is to know about bouncing. Bouncing back after a fall, bouncing on the bed, bouncing zoomies, joy-bouncing, welcome-back-bouncing, ….. all the bouncing you could possibly want - dogs are experts at it.)
Baz is Wedgetail’s resident comfort dog, so he specialises in resilience-bounce; he has a calm, solid, gentle presence, and an amazing instinct for knowing when people need him to be near them. He takes his job in palliative care very seriously and will be continuing to bring his strong, grounded support to Wedgetail this year.

Thank you to all who supported our street stall on Friday, it was a success! All money raised goes to our outstanding palliative care service. A big thank you to the many generous friends and volunteers of Tweed Palliative Support and Wedgetail Retreat, who baked irresistible cakes and donated gorgeous plants for the stalls. Some of those treats made their way directly to Wedgetail Retreat where they were happily (and quickly) consumed! This is nourishment for body, heart and soul. ✨💛✨
