Don’t bother bringing your lunch to work on Thursday - we’ve got you covered! Queen Street op shop is having another delicious sausage sizzle this Thursday 2nd April. There will also be street stalls with yummy home made cakes and fantastic op shop treasures. We will be drawing the winning ticket for our MONSTER EASTER EGG RAFFLE! This will be your last chance to buy a ticket and fulfil all your chocolatey dreams. You could also take home one of our legendary home-cooked cakes - they are guilt-free eating because calories don’t count if it’s for charity 😇

What a great way to help us out and enjoy a fun, relaxed Saturday afternoon! Drift Clothing Cabarita Beach are hosting a Fundraiser Fashion Parade at Cabarita Bowls Club on Saturday 28 March. The $49 ticket scores you entry with bubbly on arrival, canapès, an indulgence bag of goodies AND $10 goes to Wedgetail Retreat to support the important work we do. That’s not all … there is also live music, a silent auction, raffles to the value over $1000, a lucky door prize, and a best-dressed prize - make the effort to shine bright!

Do you know anyone who could do with a little extra stability and reassurance getting around independently? Our Queen Street op shop has so many great wheeled walkers at bargain prices. You could probably strut the rail trail with one of these beauties! They even have brakes for the serial speeders (you know who you are).
Regular walking, even with a frame, improves balance and coordination. It strengthens bones and muscles, helps lower blood sugar levels, and can improve sleep quality. It also improves heart health, enhances cognitive function and boosts positive mood. Walking with friends is even better! ❤️

Where else would you find a shop, (or two shops), that let you walk out with a WHOLE bag full of clothes for just $5?? A whole bag of clothes for less than a cup of coffee at the cafe!! So here’s the plan … make a quick cup at home to save $5, dash out and grab a whole bag of unique clothes, then head to the cafe every day for the next week in a new outfit. ✨👗👕✨ These are the things that make life worth living. You’re welcome.
Note: The sale applies to $1 clothing only. However see if you can strike a bargain for some books - we have SO many. (Then you can take a book to read while you sip a latte in your new clothes. Smooooooth.)

We love local!! dropped a box of their beautiful Australian room fragrances in to Wedgetail recently. They are Australian-made and designed to create positive feelings, so we are thrilled to be using them at the Wedgetail Retreat hospice. Thank you . 😊

Perhaps it’s the high humidity in the past few weeks, or the impending rains, but Edna’s tail is out! Who knew she was a mermaid all this time? Perhaps it’s fitting that a mermaid is overseeing all those hidden treasures in the Queen Street op shop. What is the secret to Edna’s sparkling health and and aquatic beauty? Is it kelp? So many questions……….

Our herb and veggie gardens are getting a little refresh and we'd love your help! If you have extra herb cuttings, veggie seedlings or easy care edible plants, we'd be so grateful for a donation.
