Please join us for the Murwillumbah Philharmonic Choir's annual fundraising concert for Wedgetail on Saturday 6th September at 2pm.
This is a joyful musical afternoon followed by refreshments at the Jessie McMillan Hall.
You can pay for your ticket at the door or over the phone (by card) by calling the office on (02) 6672 8459. See you there!

Congrats to our dear op shop manager Edna Gorton!! She was very surprised today when twenty family and friends descended on Queen St op shop to watch her receive a 'Paul Harris Fellow Award' from Murwillumbah AM Rotary. This prestigious Rotary award is in recognition of her years of dedication to the Murwillumbah community.
Edna has volunteered at Tweed Palliative Support op shops for over 19 years. In that time she and her team have raised well over $4 million for our charity.
This is a very well deserved award for a wonderful lady. Thank you Edna! We are so proud of you

On Friday morning we awoke to find that the heavy rains and a blocked gutter on private property had filled the Queen Street Op Shop with a whole lot of water and orange silt. Volunteers and the SES answered the call for help and both flooded shops were emptied in just 4 hours!! AMAZING EFFORT we cannot thank you enough!!
Where would we be without our incredible SES and community? Thank you, thank you, thank you to all!
The carpet will be washed and dried and we will be back ASAP!

Business to be transacted at the meeting includes Reports from the President, Treasurer, Training Coordinator, Secretary and Office Manager.
There will also be election of Management Committee members. Nominations to the Committee must be proposed and signed by members on the nomination form and must be received by the Committee Secretary no later than Monday 2 December.

Thank you to Rianne and Harry for your initiative and hard work in repairing the Wedgetail Retreat Driveway! Justin from Pacific Bitumen was able to guide them with the ins and outs of the big job. Much appreciation to all.

The Collectors Fair has just been held in Murwillumbah. Mark from Rotary presented the proceeds of their cake stall and sausage sizzle as a generous donation to Wedgetail. Trevour and Pam from the Northern Rivers Bottle Collectors also presented Meredith with a fantastic donation of $3000 for Wedgetail. We are overwhelmed by all of your support! Thank you to our wonderful community!

Rosalie was the lucky raffle winner at the Murwillumbah Philharmonic Choir performance held on Saturday the 24th. Over $1200 raised!! A big thanks to all who attended

Our annual Stone & Wood Open Day held at the Murwillumbah Brewery on August 3rd was a great success!! Gold coin donations at the gate, sausage sizzle, cupcake sales, and a fantastic raffle contributed to a fun and profitable day for Wedgetail Retreat. Thank you as always to the amazing community support from Stone & Wood and all of our wonderful supporters. We greatly appreciate you!
