We are a Chiropractic clinic that care for musculo-skeletal problems.We intend to provide a safe and caring environment for our patients. Treatments at our clinic may often involve a combination of spinal adjustments, muscle work, rehabilitation, ergonomic advice and preventative exercises. 3 Common Posture Habits That Can Affect Your Lower Back

These might seem small, but over time they can lead to discomfort or even pain. Here’s what to watch out for:

1️⃣ Slouching While Sitting
Letting your lower back round when sitting (especially at a desk or on the couch) puts extra pressure on the lumbar spine and can weaken your core over time.

2️⃣ Standing with Hips Shifted to One Side
Leaning into one hip while standing (like when waiting in line or chatting) can cause uneven load on your spine and tighten one side of your lower back and hip.

3️⃣ Overarching the Lower Back (Anterior Pelvic Tilt)
Often seen in people who stand or walk with their pelvis tilted forward, this posture compresses the lower spine and overworks the back extensors and hip flexors.

Want to improve your posture right now? Try these 3 simple checks:

⭐️ Head Alignment: Stand or sit tall. Your ears should align with your shoulders. Gently pull your head back if it’s leaning forward.
⭐️ Shoulder Position: Relax your arms and roll your shoulders up, back, and down. Keep them level and slightly pulled back to open up your chest!
⭐️ Spine Alignment: Stand against a wall. Your head, shoulders, and bottom should touch the wall. Ideally, there should be minimal space between your lower back and the wall.

Incorporate these checks into your daily routine to reduce strain and feel better!
