Always on, always doing… but never fully relaxed 😶‍🌫️

It’s something we see a lot, where the body stays in a constant “on” state without enough real recovery.

Does this feel familiar to you?

Your leg hurts… but sometimes that’s not where it starts.

The nerves that travel down your leg begin in your lower back.🤏🏽

So when one of them gets irritated, symptoms can show up further down the leg.

That’s why we may still assess the lower back, even if your main complaint is leg pain.

Every case is different, but if pain is travelling or not improving, it’s worth getting it checked 🩵

POV: you’re a fly on the wall in our treatment room

Adjustment ✔️

Then straight into scapula work to open up a rolled-in shoulder. This is usually the part people don’t realise matters just as much: restoring movement, not just creating it.

Booking availabilities are in the link in our bio 🩵

Deadlifts don’t automatically cause back pain, but technique, timing, and load matter.

It’s one of the most misunderstood exercises we see in clinic.

When prescribed and performed correctly, deadlifts can help build a stronger, more resilient spine.

Where issues tend to arise:
– Overloading too quickly
– Poor movement mechanics
– Reduced hip engagement
– Training through existing dysfunction or pain

So for us, rather than asking “are deadlifts bad?”
A better question is: is your body ready for them right now?

If you’re unsure, getting your movement assessed can make all the difference.

Ever had knee pain that just doesn’t make sense, and then your lower back starts getting tight too?

We see this pattern all the time in clinic.

Your body doesn’t really separate things like “knee pain” or “lower back pain”, it just adapts. So if your knee isn’t moving or loading well, your hips and lower back often step in to compensate without you even noticing.

That’s why someone can come in thinking it’s a simple knee issue… and it turns out their whole movement pattern has shifted.

It’s not about blaming one area, it’s about understanding how connected everything actually is.

This is also why treating pain in isolation doesn’t always stick long-term.

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing knee pain, lower back pain, or stiffness that keeps coming back, it’s worth looking at how your body is moving as a whole (not just where it hurts).

😊

Most people come to us after months or years of short-term fixes (stretches, massages, quick relief treatments). ✨

These are helpful in the moment, but nothing really lasting.

That’s because long-term change needs more than just temporary relief.

It’s about understanding your body, addressing the root cause, and supporting it through each stage, not just when you’re in pain, but as you recover and beyond.

Care shouldn’t stop when the pain does.

Mental: ok
Physically: feeling a bit crunchy

Just had an adjustment? Don’t let it go to waste 👀

A few simple things can help your body actually hold onto that good feeling:

– Hydrate (your body needs it more than you think)
– Keep moving, but keep it light
– Take it easy if you’re new (no hero workouts today pls)
– Watch your posture… the little things add up

And don’t ghost your follow-ups. Consistency is where the real change happens ✨

Tight neck? It might not be a stretching problem.

This one muscle sits next to a nerve that controls how calm or stressed your body feels…

So when it’s tight, your whole body can feel on edge.

It might be this one muscle keeping your body stuck in stress mode 🫠
