The interactive Bible story about David and Goliath was very engaging, and the craft afterwards reminded us of the key points in the Bible Story. The young adults at Allowah welcomed guests to join their Leisure and Life Skills Program this week. It was a pleasure to have students from Presbyterian Ladies College join us. As well as learning life skills, we enjoyed inviting our new PLC friends to a game of wii-bowling and wii-golf. We were also busy decorating Allowah for Book Week next week, so it was good to have some extra hands to design some posters with a Dr Seuss theme. Thanks for brightening up our walls and our day PLC Sydney !

The young adults attending Allowah’s Leisure and Lifeskills program were pleased to welcome some students from PLC Sydney. The young people all worked together to make a compass, to fit in with Allowah’s camp week theme, and was a great talking point for the students who are considering undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh program at school. Playdough became a great creative medium for those with a creative design interest, and others enjoyed a competitive board game. We greatly enjoyed the time with our guests, thank you for visiting PLC! 🫶

The young people at Allowah had a lovely time doing church with the Hurstville Presbyterian Church team on Sunday. You brought the Bible story of shadrach, meshach and abednego to life with your props, and we enjoyed singing songs about how great God is.

We always love our individual story time at the end. A big thanks as well to the Bible Society for the Scripture Grant to buy these books. God's people showing God's love.
