Dungog Shire Palliative Care Volunteers provide FREE non-medical support to all residents in Dungog Shire diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, to help them live in dignity, peace and comfort. Our service has been active in Dungog Shire since 1994, available FREE of charge providing support to any resident across Dungog Shire,diagnosed with a life limiting illness,their carers and family. Our service can provide :

FREE supported TRANSPORT to medical appointments(including treatments within the shire and major treatment centres outside the shire e.g Newcastle,Maitland. FREE loan of EQUIPMENT e.g walkers, shower chairs,hospital bed,oxygen concentrators

FREE RESPITE and VISITS to home/hospital. Our MOTTO is "A caring hand to help"

We accept REFERRALS from individuals, family,friends, and health professionals e.g doctors,nurses,social workers. CONTACT us by email admin@dungogcarers.com.au or phone 0457846806

Wow, what an effort. We raised $4,000 for Dungog Palliative Care Volunteers at our Kenny Knight Challenge.

Huge shout out to Stacey and Rodney Richardson for donating cattle and cattle transport and Farmers Warehouse Dungog for donating feed for prizes. You guys are awesome.
