I offer personalised acupuncture treatments to support people experiencing pain, injury recovery, stress and fatigue. At Acupuncture Sanctuary, I provide personalised consultations and treatments drawing on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine. I have been in clinical practice for over 25 years and am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. My areas of interest include supporting people experiencing ongoing pain, fatigue and stress, as well as offering holistic cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation therapies. Driven by my own lived experience of long-term health challenges, I have undertaken extensive training in a range of natural health approaches over the past 25 years. Specialising in treating pain - chronic and acute - using Natural Therapies that support your body. - Acupuncture Treatments - Balance Method, Traditional Chinese (TCM) Meridian Therapy - with Cupping, Moxibustion, Electro, Guasha, and Massage. - In addition to the Acupuncture therapies above, I use other holistic modalities to help create a complete healthy balance for mind, body and spirit. These include: Naturopathic consultations, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Supplements, Diet, Detox and Flower Essence therapy. If you have ongoing chronic pain - a long term Holistic plan is needed - not just a few treatments, or pills taken adhoc. Firstly a short term plan may include some treatments, supplements and some diet and lifestyle changes to quickly reduce the pain and associated symptoms. You can enjoy a better quality of life - with some commitment. Chronic pain conditions usually require a long term management plan - so the pain stays away, and improvement continues over years, and you know how to handle a flare up before it even becomes a flare up. I have personal experience from having had Psoriatic Arthritis (and other health issues) since I was a young kid. I am in charge of my body, my pain, and feel I am in the best position to be able to help you to do the same. I am an AHPRA (Govt.) Registered Acupuncturist, with Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine. I have provider numbers with all the health funds so you can claim a rebate depending on your level of cover. ACUPUNCTURE (Traditional Chinese) Including Electro-Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping and Guasha. The insertion of very fine needles stimulates your body to heal itself, physically, medically and energetically, so it can help your body improve from a wide variety of health conditions and maintain wellness. Acupuncture is especially effective for any pain condition, & stress & anxiety. I have over 15 years experience with TCM Acupuncture and Naturopathy. My special interest in treating chronic and acute pain - especially autoimmune pain conditions, comes from my own experience with living with it - I truly understand the ups, the downs and management to a ‘barely there’ level. I am passionate for my mission to help transform the lives of people living with chronic pain - so they too can live a healthy, happy life. NATUROPATHY - Naturopathy is a holistic system that incorporates the use of natural therapies to give your body the support it needs for healing and optimal health. For me this may include prescribing individualised herbs & supplements, using food as medicine, detoxification programs, flower essence therapy, mindfulness techniques, referring for treatments such as acupuncture, and encouraging you to learn more about yourself so you can be empowered in your own healing. - Overall I help people who are committed to their health make changes in all areas of their lives over time. There’s no quick fix to chronic pain and good health. There’s no one supplement or therapy to make it all go away.. You need to be committed for a long journey, but I guarantee it is worth it!
