Deadlifts aren’t inherently “bad” for your back - and the research backs that up.
When performed with good technique and sensible progression, they can strengthen the very muscles that support your spine.
Back pain is multifactorial. It’s rarely caused by one exercise alone.

play a role in how your body feels and performs.
So instead of fearing the movement, focus on:

✔️ Life factors outside the gym
✔️ Listening to your body
