EMDR isn’t just for PTSD and major trauma. It can help with many adverse moments that shaped how you see yourself and the world.
Every experience, especially the painful, confusing, or overwhelming ones, leaves an imprint. Over time, these moments can quietly form beliefs like “I’m not enough,” “I’m unsafe,” or “I'm stupid.”
EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess those past experiences, so they no longer hold the same emotional weight, allowing new, healthier beliefs to take their place.
If you’re noticing unhelpful patterns or negative self-beliefs in your life, it may be worth exploring the experiences that first taught them to you.
That’s where real change begins. 💙
