Read a testimonial from a resident here: "I have been a resident at Lady of Grace for over a decade and during this time the nursing staff and management have been wonderful. Every effort was made to settle me in, make me comfortable and above all active again. They succeeded and I now participate and enjoy myself in the activities and events at Lady of Grace. My special needs have always been attended to. The meals at Lady of Grace are beautifully cooked and presented. My food preferences and diet are always catered for by the kitchen staff."

Are you unsure if your elderly family member is experiencing dementia?

Although the early signs vary, common early symptoms of dementia include:

- memory problems, particularly remembering recent events
- increasing confusion
- reduced concentration
- personality or behaviour changes
- apathy and withdrawal or depression
- loss of ability to do everyday tasks.

Sometimes, people fail to recognise that these symptoms indicate that something is wrong. They may mistakenly assume that such behaviour is a normal part of the ageing process.

Symptoms may also develop gradually and go unnoticed for a long time.

You don't have to go through this on your own. Let our specialty staff at Lady Of Grace Aged Care assist you and your family in caring for your loved one who may be experiencing Dementia. Call us on (02) 9634 1354

A home for all

Lady of Grace Aged Care is owned, governed and managed by Lady of Grace Fraternity-an Italian, catholic, not-for-profit, registered charity.

We maintain a high, stable staffing ratio. We ensure that at least one Registered Nurse is on duty at all times to guide staff, perform nursing procedures and manage emergency situations. We strive to work as a team and ensure that the residents are always attended by familiar faces, so that they feel comfortable and safe. We have a great diversity of staff who speak other languages. This is a great benefit for elderly people who have migrated to Australia years ago, and may have forgotten English.

Our facility is situated on beautiful grounds, with spacious car park and disabled access. We are surrounded by beautiful gardens and provide a home like environment to our residents and ease the transition process for the new residents and their families. Our visiting hours are not set to specific times and relatives and friends are encouraged to visit during daytime or afternoon.

We adhere to our philosophy and mission statement to highly value and respect human life. We strive to provide high level of hospitality, maintain resident lifestyle and providing holistic delivery of service.
