Meet John, a Seating Matters client and aged care resident whose life was transformed by the Phoenix 2 clinical chair.

John, who suffers from scoliosis, had previously been using a chair that failed to provide him with adequate support. With no support under his elbows and limited ability to adjust the chair himself, John was restricted in his daily activities, uncomfortable, and struggled with poor posture.

Since making the swap to the Phoenix 2, John has gained:

✅ Enhanced comfort and support, boosting his confidence and enjoyment throughout the day

✅ Improved postural alignment

✅ Effective pressure care, relieving discomfort

✅ Restored independence with the ability to adjust his own chair, enabling him to enjoy breakfast with the daily paper

✅ A visual improvement in posture, noticed by caregivers

✅ Huge improvements in mental health, comfort and independence
