Thank you for supporting our social enterprise! January went past in a blur of smiles as our Warrah community members returned to all the tasks they were thriving at last year – weighing and mixing ingredients for organic sourdough, packing and delivering seasonal produce boxes to our various collection points, serving customers in the shop and restocking the shelves. We even had some fun capturing it on film. Stay tuned for our new Warrah Farm Shop video to be released very soon!

The past few days have been filled with professional learning, planning and collaboration as our teachers prepare for another fantastic year. We’re looking forward to welcoming our students back on Monday 2 February.

Our teachers are brimming with enthusiasm, fresh ideas and new skills after attending a week-long Steiner Education teacher intensive in Newcastle.

The experience offered time to explore new creative teaching approaches, student wellbeing and inclusive practice. Just as importantly, it strengthened our connections with Steiner schools and educators from across Australia.

They’re excited to bring this learning back into classrooms, sharing renewed energy, inspiration and practical ideas that benefit our whole school community.

Our new classrooms are almost ready, and we can’t wait to welcome our new K-2 students.

Our beloved Kaltenbach building is being renovated, with thoughtfully designed calm and beautiful spaces for young and adventurous learners. Our school is growing, while always maintaining the high level of individualised support we are known for.

💛 Help Us Make Room at Warrah 💛

Warrah Specialist School is the only Steiner School in Australia for children with intellectual disability and complex learning needs.

Right now, families are waiting for a place where their child will be truly seen, understood, and supported, but we don’t yet have the space.

We urgently need to raise $450,000 to build two new classrooms, allowing 14 more children to access the education, care, and belonging Warrah is known for.
