June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

Bowel cancer claims the lives of 101 Australians every week (5,276 people a year) – but it’s one of the most treatable types of cancer when detected early.

While the risk of bowel cancer increases significantly with age, the disease doesn’t discriminate, affecting people of all ages.

Bowel cancer is preventable and treatable - screening can begin from age 40. If you have any questions or concerns, you should consult your GP for appropriate investigation/s.

Dr Chintanpreet 'Ekam' Singh will no longer be practicing at RCMP from 31st January 2025. We wish him well with his future endeavours.
