Enjoy a blissful series of restful yoga postures supported by yoga props and eye pillows in this mini nervous system reset that will leave you feeling calm, centered and energised. This 2 hour Restorative Yoga workshop designed to activate your body’s natural ability to rejuvenate and heal.
What is Restorative Yoga?
As the name suggests, Restorative Yoga is a very gentle, restorative form of yoga focused on rest and recovery. The body’s parasympathetic nervous system is activated through a carefully guided sequence of gentle and restful asanas (or yoga poses). In opposition to the ‘fight-or-flight’ or sympathetic response, the parasympathetic nervous system plays an important role in the regulation of our sleep, hormonal balance, immunity, digestion, rest and recovery.
