Peho slipped away peacefully in the early hours of this morning. She will lay state at her home in Ruatahuna (Omakoi) where the family will spend time with her before taking her to Te Umuroa Marae at 8am tomorrow morning.
Burial on Sunday, service will commence at 10.00am.

“Do not cry for me dear one, instead celebrate the life that we all lived, and that you will continue to live”

Weekend vibes.

"My hair needs you" was my message to my friend Vienna.
"Her swift response was.""See you apōpo ".

So from Beenleigh to Ipswich she drove and snip snip, cut cut, and catch up, and the bush mane is tamed. 😅

I even got to sit in the sunshine for a little bit, and the Lord knows I haven't been able to get outside in a very long time!

Hmmmmmm.
I'm grateful for the love and connections flooding in from all parts of the world and for my friends and family.

I keep the faith as my eyes open to another day !!!!!!!!!!

I am loved and supported everywhere I look and I'm grateful in the knowing that when I let go of any stubbornness, resistance and ego, which can sometimes close doors on the help I NEED, I allow more love and support into my space.

I find comfort and reassurance within myself as I let go, trusting that I am doing what's perfect for me.

It's 12am, and I'm lying in a hospital bed, cosy and as comfortable as can be, and I am compelled to re-visit this message and to share it again.

Breakfast in bed...

I wasn't able to stomach liquids or solids for days. I had no apetite and went without food, and even the smell of food made me feel ill.

I was vomiting and dry reaching, which came on suddenly after a week of heavy nausea. Physically, I haven't been 100% for months, but this was another level of pain and discomfort so a call for an ambulance was made.

After 3 nights in the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane, things started to feel much better, and I was home to the delight of my children and whānau, who were eager for my return.

It feels good to eat again but my appetite is still to increase and with much help from whānau, friends and everyone around me I am starting to feel whole again.

Sending love and compassion to everyone on their physical journey.

Thank you, Te Kahu Aweawe, for inviting Healing Winds to mahi tahi (work together with you) in wānanga, to share, teach, and walk with you. Thanks to Peter Borell and whānau and all involved in creating the space for everyone, from Healing hands to cooking kai.

Thank you also to those who came, local and from afar to receive. Thank you for trusting ♡

It's good to be home and to witness and assist the awakening and the return home for our people in one body, one people, one love kia ora ai ngā tāngata me ngā iwi katoa.

HEALING DAY.
**open to the public, any and all whānau ♡

I feel a bit spoilt and definitely humbled since arriving home to Aotearoa and being around some inspiring whānau; who, like you and I, have a passion for assisting others to breakthrough and climb.

Piiki Mihi to our whanaunga , Valerie & Wiremu for all that you do to awhi the people and creating spaces for us to mahi tahi (unite and be as one), and to my whānau ki Omakoi, tōku māma, my tuakana and irāmutu, mwahhhh!!!

So as the days unfold, everything is as it's meant to be as we follow our hearts and passion. We listen, learn and share with one another and we look forward to listening, sharing and learning from you as well, when we come together again to hold space for all people at Paparoa Marae, Te Puna, Tauranga Aotearoa this Sunday (27 Aug 2023), and tautoko and mahi (work) alongside whānau Te Kahu Aweawe.

KEEP THE FAITH!

It's humbling and healing to be home.
I am grateful for the personal healing and all the healing that has taken place around me. I am thankful to all whānau and friends in the physical and non-physical for their loving support and assistance.

KEEP THE FAITH whānau. If you've been feeling the "pinch" from heavy energies like I have (matepukupuku-cancer and otherwise), do not be afraid or lose hope no matter how heavy. It is another storm that will pass, so stay within and shut out all the noise.

IO and all Divine helpers have not abandoned you; they never have and never will.

Faith. Trust. Love.

We are children of the most high!
