James Polyzoidis continues his CHRONIC DISEASE SERIES – Prevention & Management – at WellBeings Well Beings Yoga & Wellness Centre] Earlwood studio 6.30pm tomorrow/Tuesday evening.

Yoga therapy session, including breathing, meditation (yoga nidra), addressing the root causes of these conditions. If you suffer from such conditions (or want to prevent them), this session is for you. Invite a friend who might benefit. Beginner friendly. James will be running a series on common chronic diseases – prevention & management - on Tuesday evenings (6.30pm) commencing 11 October. These are highly recommended for those who are interested in natural therapy based strategies for disease prevention, cures or management.

These yoga therapy classes will be packed with information and can be attended by those who have not done yoga previously. More advanced practitioners will also benefit.

🍄 Shiitake mushrooms and its unique properties 🍄

Hardy and strengthening vegetables that help the body discharge excess animal fats and also have strong medicinal benefits. These properties come from the fact that they grow on tree trunks in a very cold climate throughout many months – resulting in strength and hardness (Unlike common mushrooms that take only a few days to grow in a warm, dark, moist environment).
Therefore cook shiitakes in preference to other varieties of mushrooms. They are a great source of vitamin D and pro B12 (manufactured in the gut).

Uses: They are delicious in soups, sauces and stocks, as well as medicinal drinks to specific recipes and conditions. Make a shiitake broth to get rid of any excess animal products or conditions that relate to it, arthritis, cellulite, heat
