It was a bittersweet celebration today as we said “see you later” to our wonderful ‘Jill of all trades’ AHA Narelle. Narelle has been part of the Live Well team for the past 4 years and will be dearly missed.

During the festive season we will be closed on the public holidays and Friday the 27th; otherwise trading as normal weekdays 8am-4.30pm.

It is a day to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance for the 5.5million people living with disability in Australia, breaking down barriers and providing opportunities for everyone!

Live Well OT are expanding and we are looking for an amazing Occupational Therapist to join our team😎

Our office space is based in Albury however you have the option to work from home anywhere in our catchment. We service an hour and a half radius into both NSW as well as Victoria.

We provide supports to clients across a number of funding streams which means enhanced variety in our caseloads.

Team support is prioritized on a daily basis as we recognize that we can achieve more with our clients if we ourselves are looked after.

Today is Allied Health Assistant Day.

The theme for this year is: Working Towards an Inclusive Future

Inclusion is the practice of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalised.

As Allied Health Assistants Narelle and Robyn practice this with their clients on a daily basis.

Tomorrow is world mental health day! To recognise this, the Live Well team went on a mental health walk at Noreuil Park on our lunch break.

We encourage you to make some time for your mental health tomorrow and everyday!

Some easy activities you might incorporate:
- daily walk or lunch break walk
- getting out in nature/garden
- listen to your favourite music
- using mindfulness apps (there are some great free ones)
- unplugging from social media/technology during the day
- gentle stretching
- spending time with a friend or loved one
- volunteering
- consider you senses (smell, touch)
- have a warm shower/bath

Let us know if there are any other activities you like to do.

A huge shout out to Clayton, Celeste, Lee-Ann and the entire amazing team at Business Edge Advisors for the outstanding achievements at this years Albury Wodonga Business Awards! Numerous well deserved awards here (4just on these slides 🤩) with Clayton also taking out Outstanding Business Leader (he must have a good chocolate supply 🍫) and Seamlss which is also his program, also being Highly Commended! 👏The team at Live Well OT have only recently commenced getting assistance through BEA and couldn’t be happier with the amazing service and support. These are so well deserved, a real credit to the entire BEA team 🏆🙌🎖️

Celebrate!!

Last week the team at Live Well had the chance to properly celebrate Alisons (aka boss lady) 10 years of Live Well!! She thought the celebration had been kept on the down low but not a chance with us around!

We had a wonderful night with good food, good company and lots of laughs. Congratulations again Al - you have worked so hard for this and deserve to be celebrated 💐🎊
