What a lovely Mother’s Day morning tea we shared yesterday at Stepping Stones 🩷

The centre was filled with so much fun, laughter and special moments as our mums joined us for the morning. The children loved showing their mums around their classrooms and sharing a little part of their day.

Families enjoyed a range of special activities together, including make-up, relaxing massages from Francesca Arena Massage Therapist, playdough, beading and having their nails done.

We also enjoyed a delicious morning tea, with scones, fairy bread, fresh fruit and other tasty treats.

Thank you to all of the mums and special family members who joined us. It was such a beautiful morning celebrating the important people in our children’s lives. 💐

Thousands of Aussie parents will be scrambling today to find new childcare arrangements, as one of the nation's biggest operators announces it will shut 10 per cent of its centres.

G8 Education runs almost 400 centres nationally, under well-known brand names like Jellybeans, Buggles and Great Beginnings.

Carolyn Smith, Early Childhood director at the United Workers Union told Oliver Peterson on 102.5 ABC Perth Drive the decision will impact close to 1,000 workers.

🩷Celebrating Miss Milly 🌟

A big congratulations to our wonderful team member Miss Milly, who has recently completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care – such an amazing achievement! 🎓

As she wraps up her last days with us for a little while, we are also excited to celebrate this very special time in her life, with her first baby due in just a few short weeks. 🤍

Miss Milly has been such a valued part of our Stepping Stones family, and she will be greatly missed while she’s on parental leave. We wish her all the very best for this next beautiful chapter and can’t wait to meet her little one soon! 👶✨

We are proud to be participating in the 2026 Sonshine (98five) Heart for the Homeless and are now collecting donations to support those in need within our community.

📅 Donations will be collected until 22nd May
📍 Please place all donated items in the large box located at reception.

We are gratefully accepting donations of:

• Scarves
• Small shampoos
• Small conditioners
• New socks
• Body wash
• Deodorant
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Backpacks
• Sleeping bags
• New fleece blankets (small, packable preferred)
• New winter jumpers
