Christmas is so much more than the presents, it is about hope, creation, and love. To help celebrate we have something sorcual to givee away on our Boxing Day special , keep your eyes open…. And remember make sure you put all your left overs in the fridge and calories don’t count on Christmas Day 🙂

Your Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports is inviting applications from interested individuals and registered youth clubs to access the 2025 Youth Grant. This grant supports youth and sports development initiatives, with this year’s focus on Youth Entrepreneurship Development and Livelihood Opportunities. 🚀

Eligible individuals and youth clubs can apply for grant assistance ranging from FJD $1,000 to $5,000, with priority given to those who have not received previous assistance from the Ministry. Applications close at 4pm on December 1, 2025 — so don’t miss out on this opportunity to bring your ideas to life! 🗓️

Application forms are available on the Ministry’s website 👉 www.youth.gov.fj
or can be collected from the nearest Ministry of Youth and Sports office in your division (Central, Eastern, Western, or Northern). For contact details and office locations, please refer to the post below. 📍

Education! Like in Fiji, the more we can talk about healthcare in developing nations the better everyone can become.

This time instead of such discussions in Fiji, We are warmly received back at Monash University and the Friends4Fiji Initiative. This is a long term running student led project that invites students to not only learn about health care in Fiji, but to also fundraiser and support several Fijian medical students with learning opportunities in Australia. Excellent night ofvkearning with teo guest Drs also oresenting from Fiji via zoom.

And that’s a wrap for Education Night’25! Thank you so much to all our Speakers, Shane, Christoff, Dr Shakeel and Dr Corpuz for their insightful presentations! We have all learnt a lot about healthcare in Fiji and we hope to see everyone there again next year! 🎊

Remembering one of the most loyal, loving, dedicated, and caring community health workers a village could ask for.

Eseta committed her time and energy into our rehab programs from our very first program 11 years ago and has faithfully attended and helped every year embracing the goals and helping us to help the local community while rallying the troops before we get there.

She was a go getter, knew how to get things done, and not afraid to give someone a hurry up when needed . She also ibew how to maje you feel like yiu were the mist umoiryabt oersin in the room and gave the best hugs!

Esetas passing last week brings a tear to our eyes as we know the impact and geneuine love she had for her community and her family.

For those that met her once or many times, we are the lucky ones to be part of your infectious energy.

Much love to your family, children, grandchildren, clan, and village.
