How do massage therapy and exercise come hand in hand? 👉
I do get ask this question often from clients. The goal with massage therapy is to de-stress your body, making the muscles feel good and your mind. Exercise plays an important role in this by being able to perform at your best (especially if you compete in a sport). 💪
Massage therapy can be used as a pre-exercise assistant by allowing better flexibility, reduced muscle tension and an increase in circulation. It can also be used as a post-exercise assistant by setting the body up for recovery, flushing toxins out and eliminating the build-up of lactic acid in your muscles. 🏋
If you find you're someone who exercises often and you experience a lot of fatigue and pain this can set you up for an underwhelming performance in your session. Massage therapy can be the key to helping you get back on track. 🔥
I always say a great training program should always be supplemented by a great recovery program. 🙌
