Life is a funny thing isn’t it…
When Pete & I first spoke about placing a door into the house as an entry point for clients, we originally spoke about the door being utilised to create a haven for which to bring the Studio inside and create space for Pete to create his own office/man-cave, allowing me to leave behind all the things that were stressing me about the Studio, mainly its squeaky floors which had me taking steps only onto certain areas to try and avoid this impacting my clients and its inability to block noise, a problem I have been trying unsuccessfully to resolve since the day she went in.
The door went in & I decided the Studio combined with access to the toilet was enough, I decided not to create change, I loved the Studio, I loved the sanctuary it created despite its flaws in never being able to create the soundproof cocoon I wanted for my clients - I decided to accept the Studio warts and all.
And then I discovered the water leak from the recent storm which we had repaired had caused ongoing issues with the flooring and walls that needed to be repaired for the Studio to be safe and it forced me to reconsider our original plans, creating upheaval that I wasn’t ready to cause to my clients, or myself….to actually shift the Studio into its new location.
Even as I sat in the empty Cocoon space ready to start shifting everything in from The Studio, I wasn’t sure it was the right thing, or if it was going to work… Pete worked with me tirelessly for 2 full 12hour+ days to create “The Cocoon” and can I tell you from the moment I shut the Cocoon door and commenced my first session on Monday I knew it was the right thing..
All week, I have felt that this is just a reaffirming moment, in my beliefs that life always puts you where you need to be whether you like it or not. Once that door shuts on the Cocoon, we are surrounded by the most beautiful, almost soundproof bubble of warmth and tranquility, overlooking the rustling leaves of the garden via the one-way screens bringing the outside in along with the most divine energy that I just could never quite reach in The Studio.
My nervous system has settled, I feel at peace throughout each appointment in a way, I didn’t even realise was missing until it is back. As I sit in the office listening to the birds outside the window chirping and the soft background music filtering from 'The Cocoon' I feel so happy that life decided it was time to move forward…. Ready or not and with a giant shove, here we are almost a week in, in the most amazing state of zen.
The Cocoon is still being tested but I hope that she will continue to bring a safe, peaceful Sanctuary to you in the coming weeks and that you will love the space as much as I do, allowing this once unused space to become our permanent home.

Well, what can I say except a big heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the sudden change.
The Cocoon...aptly named for the way she creates a divine, almost soundproof bubble around us, did such an amazing job today of holding a gentle, peaceful vibe, relieving a lot of the stressors I had about shifting location and leading to one exceptionally large happy dance around the room 🪶🎶☺️
Think rustling leaves, birds chirping, background music and not much else making its way in..... I am IN LOVE with the increased tranquility that she provided today and can't wait to continue sharing the Cocoon with you all in the coming weeks. 🦋💞

I am a Qualified Personal Trainer & Wellness Coach, with over 7 years experience helping clients to look after their mind & body. I have now expanded my skills to include Massage Services and believe it is a very effective tool in maintaining the body & mind at optimum health – As I have not completed my entire Diploma yet I have released rates reflective of this, however I am only offering Services I am qualified to provide and with over 100 hours of massage experience under my belt and a history working with clients as a trainer for many years your body is in safe, capable hands.
I assure you I am offering a high quality service in line with what you would expect when attending any Massage service.
