Meet Alison
Alison is one of our Senior Psychologists. She is new to the team, but brings many years of experience. Her area of expertise is Perinatal psychology, which means she supports people with;
- Perinatal (antenatal and postnatal) depression and anxiety, which affects up to one in five new mothers and one in ten new fathers.
- Birth trauma or distressing labour experiences.
- Miscarriage, stillbirth, and loss.
- Difficulty bonding or attaching with the baby.
- Adjustment to parenthood and changes in identity and relationships.
She has around 5 spots before there will be a wait to get in to see her.

☀️🌸 Long Weekend Update 🌸☀️

Our Harper’s Health team will be taking a little break over the long weekend and will be back on Tuesday, 7th October.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and sunshine-filled weekend! 🌞✨ Enjoy the extra time with family, friends, and a well-deserved rest. 💜

I often joke I’m a ‘scatty cat’ when I’m run off my feet for the team, or clients and their families that I support here at HH. Today I got a nice wake up call from my 4th year OT Student who told me I am strong, independent, yet also caring and present when it matters most - that I can balance giving space whilst showing warmth.

She flipped my HH spirit animal so I’m going to run with her version of ‘Scatty Cat’ from now on!

I feel so honoured to be able to share my practice and passion with students! Thanks C for an awesome term 3!

I’m pumped for the holidays and my fresh term 4 student shenanigans to come!

Ps. We also have a golden retriever, owl, deer and dolphin in the team…. Can you guess who is who? lol.
