Maitland Food Co-op Offering food support each week through low-cost food items, free bread, fruit & vegies.

As a project of House of Grace Community Care, the Maitland Food Co-op supports families, individuals of all ages & those doing it tough across the Maitland region. Maitland Food Co-op was established in 2005 as a Community-aid arm of a local church. In 2024 the Food Co-op moved out of the Maitland Goal to its new location and joined House of Grace Community Care. Our vision is to offer a wide range of free and low-cost grocery and household items to those in need of assistance. The low-cost contribution is applied to the items available, to help us to continue providing this valuable service. In addition to the Food Co-op, further support services are also available through House of Grace Community Care. The Maitland Food Co-op currently operates on Thursdays & Fridays from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Happy New Year and welcome back to The Food Co-op. We have enjoyed our break but now we are back into full swing again for 2026.

Today, Friday the 19th of December is our last day for the year.

Our incredible Volunteer Team will be on break resting up in preparation for another wonderful year serving our community.
