Baby Evie spent a few days in Special Care Nursery at SVPH under the watchful eye of our incredible nursery staff, but with lots of visits from Mum & Dad. She was soon back in the room with Mum and home a few days later. See my last post for Evie thriving at 6 weeks!

And before you know it, baby Evie came in with Mum to her 6 week check full of cheeky smiles!

Yes, you guessed it, baby Daphne was breech and in a hurry to be delivered a few days prior to her booked Caesarean Section! It takes a few days for breech baby’s legs to settle down into a more normal position. Most babies will turn to be head first but Daphne copied her cousin and was breech till the end. She was also quite a big baby and we made the decision that the safest mode of delivery was by Caesarean Section, just done as an emergency when Mum went into labour!
