Teens Matter 2

Over 45,000 Year 12 students across Queensland are about to embark on their external exams – including my own son 💙 This is a huge moment, the culmination of years of effort, late nights, challenges, and growth (and maybe a few questionable decisions thrown into the mix!).
To the 16 incredible young people I’ve had the privilege of supporting through Year 12, I am so proud of your journey. You have shown resilience, determination, and strength of character that no exam can fully capture.
To these 16 incredible young people (and personally my son) as well as every student across Queensland, remember this truth — your worth is not defined by your grades, and your future is not limited to a number on a page. What truly matters is the sum of who you are – your values, your compassion, your courage, and the way you rise after setbacks.
As you step into this next chapter, know that you are already so much more than the results you’ll receive. Go forward with confidence, knowing you carry within you everything you need to build a bright and meaningful future. 🌟

It is with a heavy heart that I share some very sad news with you all. Our beautiful Hugo has passed away, aged 9.
For the past 8 years, Hugo has been more than just a therapy dog — he has been a loyal companion, a gentle soul, and a source of comfort and joy for so many of you and your families. He absolutely loved his work, and he gave his whole heart to everyone he met.
We are heartbroken, but also so grateful. Hugo had such a happy life, doing what he did best — offering love, support, and a calming presence. He touched countless lives, and I know many of you will hold fond memories of him, just as I do.
Although he is no longer by my side, Hugo’s spirit will always be with us. We were truly blessed to have had him as part of our journey.
If you’d like to share any memories or stories of Hugo, I would love to hear them — it would be a beautiful way to honour the joy he brought to us all x

After lots of training, tail wags, and encouragement from his amazing mentor Hugo (already certified and totally crushing it!), Alfie is now ready to join him in bringing comfort and joy to those who need it most. 🐕🤝💛

The TM2 Therapy Dog Team just got stronger—and fluffier! 🐾💪

Our superstar Alfie has levelled up in therapy dog training! That’s right — we’re officially on to the next stage, and tails are wagging all around.

From sit-stay mastery, loose-lead walking to heart-melting cuddles, Alfie is proving to be the goodest of good boy's (with a mentor like Hugo how could he not!)

We’re so proud of our rescue legend and beyond excited for what’s ahead. Stick around — the journey’s only getting cuter from here.

As many of you are aware, our beautiful tranquil space at TM2 HQ (Eatons Hill Clinic) suffered some damage in the recent weather event. Unfortunately, this damage has become more extensive than initially thought. The clinic is completely safe and usable, though not as beautiful as it usually is (we have labelled this as our industrial themed era and totally embracing it!)
Hugo, Alfie, Liv, and myself thank you all for your understanding and patience, and we welcome the repairs and maintenance needed to have our gorgeous space back to what we know and love in the coming weeks.
In the meantime.. hats off and endless thanks to the tireless teams working to repair walls, roofing, and flooring.. between clients and ongoing weather events 🩷

The current weather situation in Brisbane and surrounds is certainly something new for many of us. However, as we know, mental health is so important during times like this. It’s normal to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stressed.
Don’t hesitate to reach out for support when you need it. Take things one step at a time, remember the things you can and can not control, and remember to practice self-care—whether it’s deep breathing, meditation, or simply stepping away from the news for a while (listening to your favourite podcast or playlist are excellent distractions and fabulous for generating dopmine)
Checking in with your mental well-being is just as important as being physically prepared.
Stay connected to your networks, and be kind to yourself and others.
From us here at TM2 HQ, stay safe, stay physically AND mentally prepared, and look out for each other!
