U-choose is a registered NDIS provider that focuses on you, the participant, by offering choice in all aspects of your personally designed support care.

U-choose Independent Support Services empowers you the participant, to be actively involved in the selection of your own personalised staff, your specific days and hours. This personalised hands on approach provides flexible and tailored supports to suit your own unique circumstances and lifestyle. Services U-choose provides:

• Individualised supports matched to client’s choice
• STA (short term accommodation)
• Personal care
• Independent travel and transport
• Daily Living skills
• Participation within the community and recreational activities.
• Mental health self-care and self-management
• Social and relationship skills
• Support services for NDIS participants that are Plan or Self-
managed.
• Home and yard maintenance – Small repairs, gardening.

We had a brilliant little adventure to Torrumbarry Weir, starting with a scenic drive that set the tone for the day.
The museum gave us a fascinating glimpse into local history, and the walk across the weir was the perfect way to stretch our legs and take in the views.

Lunch at Gunbower Cafe was an absolute treat, with huge, tasty pies that hit the spot. Warm sunshine, good food, and great company.
Days like this are why we love exploring. Can’t wait to see where we go next!

U-Choose opening hours for Australia Day

Our U-Choose office will be closed on Monday for Australia Day, with all programs paused for the day.

We’ll be back on Tuesday as usual and all programs will resume as normal.

With a potential heatwave forecast, please take extra care over the long weekend - stay cool, hydrated, and safe.

Our on-call phone will continue to be monitored, and you can reach U-Choose anytime via our website.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to everyone.

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you. To our participants, families, friends, our dedicated team, and our beautiful community, thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support, trust, and kindness mean more than words can say, and they are at the heart of everything we do. We feel incredibly grateful to share this community with you and are excited for what the year ahead will bring.

We also want to acknowledge that the festive season isn’t easy for everyone. For some, this time of year can bring extra challenges. Please remember that you don’t have to carry things on your own. Reaching out, checking in on one another, or simply asking “are you ok?” can make a powerful difference. A conversation can truly save lives.

As the festive season approaches, we’d like to let our beautiful community know that our U-Choose office will be closed from Wednesday 24th December at 3pm.
We’ll be back in the office on Monday 5th January 2026 from 8.30am.

All U-Choose programs will be paused during this period. Our on-call phone will continue to be monitored for urgent matters.

We wish everyone a beautiful Christmas, a safe and restful New Year, and a joyful time across all the festivities ahead. We hope you’re able to slow down, recharge, and spend time doing what matters to you.
