I have been MIA not only on this page but in many places in my life. Sometimes when you think you are ready to put yourself out there and share what you are studying the universe tells you… “Not yet”
Why? Because you have not done what is needed to hold space for others.
Recently I have found myself a some what empty nester and I have struggled. That is what I identified myself as first and foremost a Mother! The most amazing, beautiful and at times heart wrenching soul purpose in the world and I wouldn’t give away a single moment of the last 24 years. I have the most resilient, kind hearted, creative and loving 5 girls I could ever in a million years ask for. They are the family I never had, the reason I have fought so hard through so much and I couldn’t be prouder of each of them. Not too long ago while talking to them individually a common theme came through. “You are the strongest women we know, why are you living in a life that does not bring you joy?” I felt like I was letting them and myself down. So I left the things that did not bring me joy behind, by no means not easy and it is still a daily struggle but I’m doing it, day by day with them and a small handful of women as my cheer squad. Healing years of trauma is hard, lonely and emotional but everyday brings a new breakthrough to be grateful for so I’m now going to be sharing my experiences on here to be raw and unapologetic for what it takes to move through so much to discover myself as just me 🤍🤍🤍
