We’re pleased to welcome Dr Don Sumudu to Rich River Health Group!

Dr Don Neranja Sumudu Abeysinghe is a highly experienced medical professional with 24 years of clinical practice, including over a decade in general practice. He completed his MBBS in Sri Lanka and holds the MRCGP (INT) from the UK, recognising his specialist GP training.

He has worked across General Medicine, A&E, Oncology, and ENT, and his key clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, dermatology, preventive health, palliative care, rehabilitation, and ENT management.

Dr Don is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based care. Patients value his warm, clear communication and supportive approach. He collaborates closely with other health professionals and is fluent in English and Sinhalese.
