From this Wednesday, 15 January, Earthworks Civil and Construction will be carrying out some final work on the shoulders of the new asphalt Rail Trail in Rushworth. This 1km section of trail was opened mid-December for the public to use over the Christmas holidays.
The contractor will isolate each section of path as they undertake the work, and manage pedestrian traffic around the site. They expect these works to be completed by the end of January.
We ask that path users follow all signage and advice from the contractor to ensure their safety during these works.

Works are now complete on the Rushworth Streetscape Stage 2! 😍

The six stages including footpath, kerb and road pavement works were completed earlier this month. 👏

During these works, the pedestrian level crossing and Muhlans Street will be closed. Detours and signage will be in place. 🚧
