Dawn is blooming 🌸✨
Looking absolutely stunning in her new Bloom – Poppy frame, finished with a soft graduated brown tint 🤎 The perfect mix of bold shape and warm elegance.
We love how the tint adds that extra touch of sophistication while still keeping things effortlessly wearable.
What do we think — statement piece or everyday glam? 👓🌿

Welcome to the team, Kim! 👓✨
We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the Horsfalls family, Kim, our new Optical Assistant!
Kim grew up in Melbourne and has recently made her way back to Echuca, and we’re so happy to have her join the team. When she’s not helping our patients in store, you’ll likely find her out walking her dog Penny 🐶.
A few fun facts about Kim:
🥒 Her favourite snack is pickles and cream cheese
🚶♀️ She loves spending time outdoors walking Penny
🇬🇧 She was actually born in England
Be sure to say hello and give Kim a warm welcome next time you’re in the practice! 💙

ASMR but make it ✨optical✨ 👓🎧
That oddly satisfying screech of the tracer
The dramatic click click of a frame adjustment.
The intense concentration face while heating plastic like it’s a five-star meal.
No spa music needed — just the soothing sounds of your Optical Dispenser crafting your new specs like a true artisan 😌
Warning: may cause sudden urges to buy new glasses.

✨ Celebrating 10 years of Michelle at Horsfalls Optometrists ✨
Recently, we celebrated a very special milestone — Michelle’s 10-year anniversary with the Horsfalls team! Over the past decade, she’s built lasting relationships with patients and helped so many people see and live better. We asked her a few questions to get to know her journey a little more 👇
👓 What inspired you to become an optometrist?
“I’ve worn glasses since I was 3, so optometry has always been part of my life. At uni, I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but it wasn’t until an anatomy lecture on the eye that I was completely fascinated — and that set me on the path to optometry.”
🔬 How have you seen optometry evolve over the last 10 years?
“The basics stay the same, but the advances in technology have been incredible. The tools we now have to support patient care are amazing.”
💛 What’s been one of the most rewarding parts of your career?
“Helping young kids improve their reading and learning just by prescribing the right glasses. It makes such a huge difference to their lives — and their parents’ too.”
🤍 Was there a moment at Horsfalls when you thought ‘this is why I do this’?
“Building long-term relationships with patients I’ve been seeing for many years. That’s something really special.”
Thank you, Michelle, for 10 wonderful years of care, dedication, and commitment to our patients and community — we’re so lucky to have you 💙

History
Horsfalls Optometrists was established by Hank Horsfall in 1953. He provided eye care services to the Echuca area for many years and later Kyabram. On his retirement in the 1980s he handed the business over to optometrists Bryan Fuller and David Wilson. Since then the Practice has continued to grow and there have been relocation, renovations and staff changes along the way.
We currently operate out of two Practice locations: Echuca (134 Hare St) and Kyabram (154 Allan St). We also provide a clinic approximately once a month at the Nathalia Hospital.
Optometrists
Our seven permanent optometrists are: Bryan Fuller, Richard Lenne, Suzanne Lenne, Andrew Knight, Adam Gloury, Michelle Lucas and Kara Mitchell. David Wilson still does some locum work.
