Here at South Coast Early Interventions, we work with you and your child in a setting that is convenient for you, be it home, childcare, school, community setting or via telehealth. Our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of your child and family. We take a family centered approach and will get to know you and your child and will work with you to develop and work on the goals and ar
eas that are important to you in order to achieve outcomes together using evidence-based practices. We will work with you and your child/children to provide you with confidence and skills that will assist your child to develop their skills and independence across all areas of their development. Our supports may also include providing other information or referral to other support services or organisations, and parenting programs. As a Key Worker, I become the main contact for your family and your child and collaborate with other therapists to ensure I am successfully implementing strategies and supports across all disciplines relevant to your child’s care. I will manage and organise for the right assessments and reports with the appropriate professionals and assist you in being ready for NDIS plan reviews and other important meetings. The aims of early intervention are to support the development of skills including, gross and fine motor, communication, cognitive, emotional, self-care and social. By developing these skills children will become more independent and engage in home, education and community settings.
