🕊A recent event has deeply saddened me and I want to reach out to anyone in need of support.

⁃ Rates of su***de have increase over the past couple years
⁃ In Australia in 2020 there were 12.1 cases of su***de per 100,000.
⁃ Approximately 75% of those who committed su***de are male

If you notice a friend who is not acting themselves, reach out. It can be a simple ‘are you ok?’ to open up that conversation which could save them.

Whether you’re a male or female, it’s okay to not be okay. There are plenty of services out there to seek help. Call 13 11 14 if you need someone to talk to.
