It was a pleasure to have the esteemed Dr Lokesh Kumar visit my office last week.
Dr Kumar is the director and HoD of BLK Centre for Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in Delhi, India and a Past President of the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

We say farewell to Dr Rodrigo Cabezon the fellow for the Sydney Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship for the past year.
Rodrigo and his lovely wife Connie a dermatologist who completed a fellowship with the Melanoma unit have spent the last 2 years in Sydney with their 2 boys.
Rodrigo has had a very productive year learning advanced rhinoplasty techniques, and finesse blepharoplasty as well as working on valuable research.
He has been a pleasure to work with and we will miss his calm presence in the operating theatre and clinic.
He returns to Santiago, Chile with valuable skills and we wish him the best of luck in his career.

2 weeks ago I was invited as a specialist guest on
“The Controversies in Rhinoplasty Podcast” to talk about Revision Rhinoplasty with other esteemed surgeons .zholtikov and Professor Alwyn D’Souza.

My final lectures in this latest series of conferences was last Saturday at the ASOHNS (Australian ENT Society) annual general meeting at the ICC in Darlington Harbour.

On Friday I was asked to talk at the OHNNG (Otolaryngology Head and Neck Nurses Group) Conference at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

On Thursday I was a co-convenor of the AAFPS Facial Rejuvenation and Facial Nerve Dissection course at Sydney hospital.
The course was organised by . We had a great faculty including international experts and Dr Katherine Fedder as well as local experts and Dr Hubert Low.
The course was a great educational success showing amazing treatments for patients with devastating facial palsies.

It is an honour to have been invited to lecture at the conference in Rio de Janeiro last week.
This meeting brought rhinoplasty experts from around the world to discuss the latest techniques.
I gave 5 presentations on complex tip management and was the surgical assistant for Dr Richard Davis in his live surgery demonstration. is one of the great innovators of Modern Rhinoplasty.
The Australians gave great presentations including Phil Jumeau, and Peter Callan.
