This patient’s results are from undergoing a 360 Belt lipectomy with liposuction to the flanks & back along with primary fat grafting.

▫️What is a belt lipectomy?

This procedure removes excess skin & fat from the abdomen, lower back, hips and buttocks area. Typically performed on patients who have experienced massive weight loss. A 360 incision is made around the waistline (like a belt!)

Not only does it give an aesthetic improvement, but alleviates discomfort or any issues with your skin like rashes, pain and sometimes infections.

This young woman has always had large and heavy low set breasts. The breasts were often painful and resulted in neck and shoulder pain which was made worse by the heavy and constricting bras she needed to support them.

I’ve performed a breast reduction here with primary fat grafting in the upper pole of the breast to give it additional fullness and projection.

Should you wait until having kids? Well that is a complicated question and the answer might be different between different patients. It can be a lot to ask someone to have ongoing pain and low set breasts for another 10 years or so- it’s just not practical.

Better to have the breast of your dreams now, when or if you need a revision later you can do so. The breasts will age either way. The upside of fixing your issues now is that you can live the pain free life you want now with breasts that suit your frame and lifestyle.
