Why is everyone taking magnesium?
Because of cortisol babes.
Magnesium plays a HUGE role is regulating our stress, and when we run out of stores, we can’t regulate that stress response efficiently.
This leads to a cascade of functional issues like digestion and gut health, mental health, muscle repair and function, nutrient deficiencies, and more.
Getting the right form, compound, dose, dosage, and timing is crucial though, so I recommend speaking to a health professional like myself before grabbing something sub par from the supermarket.
It’s all well and good to take magnesium supplements for your presenting symptoms, but understanding how these symptoms are occurring play a huge role. And that’s why I pride myself on finding root causes for your problem. Supplementing is fantastic to get you back on your feet, but until you figure out why you’re depleted in magnesium and addressing this issue, you’ll never be ahead.
