PMDD isn’t a weakness.
You’re just allergic to hormonal breakdown, babes.

Support can look like
🔅 Stabilising blood sugar
🔅 Reducing inflammation
🔅 Supporting liver detox pathways
🔅 Strengthening GABA signalling
🔅 Regulating the stress response

You deserve support that goes deeper than “it’s just PMS”.

PCOS isn’t random.
And it’s not just high testosterone.

Polycystic o***y syndrome is often a metabolic-hormonal loop.

For many women it looks like this:

🔅 Higher insulin’s
🔅 Increased androgens
🔅 Disrupted ovulation
🔅 Low progesterone
🔅 Worsened insulin sensitivity
🔅 Repeat

This is why:
❗️ Your cycle stays irregular
❗️ Acne keeps flaring
❗️ Weight feels harder to lose
❗️ Symptoms come back after “quick fixes”

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about interrupting the loop.

When you treat the PATTERN, symptoms stop recycling.

PCOS is not just a hormonal imbalance.

It’s a metabolic and inflammatory condition that affects your entire body - not just your ovaries.

If you’re dealing with
🔅 Irregular or missing periods
🔅 Acne that won’t respond to skincare
🔅 Hair thinning or facial hair growth
🔅 Intense cravings and 3pm crashes
🔅 Anxiety or mood swings

That’s not random. And it’s not you “failing” at being healthy.

Most women are told their labs are “normal” and sent home with birth control. But normal ranges don’t always mean optimal function - especially when insulin resistance, stress, and inflammation are driving the picture.

You don’t need better willpower.
You need better support.

DM “ROOT CAUSE” and I’ll help you get started on this journey.

Most women think you need to have cysts in your ovaries to have PCOS.

You don’t.

PCOS is a hormonal and metabolic condition - not an ultrasound finding.

This misunderstanding leaves SO many women dismissed, undiagnosed, and frustrated.

If you have:

🔅 Irregular cycles
🔅 Acne
🔅 Hair changes
🔅 Weight resistance
🔅 Blood sugar crashes

It’s worth investing - even if your scan was “normal”.

Your symptoms are real, and they’re treatable (without the pill).

If you’re ready to stop guessing and start regulating your hormones properly, I’d love to help.

Pregnancy can come with some hidden scaries!

If you aren’t making progress with your midwife and doctor and want an additional leading hand, just know I am happy to work with your team.

Why are women prescribed progesterone when that’s the same hormone causing PMDD?

Girl, I got you.

It’s confusing because we aren’t using the right terms, rather, just using Layman’s terms to ‘understand’ things better when speaking in the doctors office.

I’m not about that, so I’m going to break it down as simple and short as I can to help you grasp what’s happening in your own body

🩸 PMDD and anaemia can look similar - but the timing tells the story.

Fatigue and low mood aren’t always hormonal, and iron deficiency can amplify PMDD symptoms. Tracking your cycle and having proper labs matter.

If your PMDD worsens when you’re stressed or under-eating, this matters.

Could low tryptophan be making your PMDD worse?

🔅 Mood drops after ovulation
🔅 Irritability or rage that feels out of character
🔅 Poor sleep or early waking in luteal
🔅 increased anxiety or intrusive thoughts
🔅 strong carb craving late in your cycle (your brain is trying to self regulate)

This doesn’t mean you need to self diagnose, it means your body is asking for support - not blame.
