Meet our new Optical Dispenser Cassandra 🧡✨
How long have you worked at the practice, what is your role and what days do you work?
I’ve just started at Eyecare Plus as an Optical Dispenser, But I’ve been working as a Dispenser for 14 years!
Tell us about yourself?
I live on the sunny Central Coast, and if I’m not at Work you’ll find me on the Sand, the Gym or checking out an Art Exhibit. ☀️🏋🏻♀️👩🏻🎨
What is your favourite thing about your job?
I love to help problem solve people’s visual needs, and seeing how I can increase people’s visual ability
What led you to become an Optical Dispenser?
I originally took a casual role in optics while I was studying a different field but when my own vision started changing it led me to want to learn more about how both Eyes and Lenses work and I love that no two eyes are the same and so each person requires something unique to them!
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My morning coffee ☕️ and my amazing group of friends. (Not specifically in that order 😅)
What does your ideal weekend look like?
Getting out into our beautiful national parks in the area!! 🥾
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
Turkey! I’m a bit of a history nerd and I’d love to see their history and culture!
What is something you have always wanted to try or learn?
I’m currently trying to learning how to hold a handstand and some calisthenics 🤸🏻
