October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every day in Australia, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer — that’s more than 21,000 each year. 1 in 7 women and 1 in 550 men will hear this diagnosis in their lifetime. Early detection saves lives, with survival rates now around 92% when cancer is found early.
