How I love our tropical North, especially this time of year.

We live in this amphitheatre of magnificent mountains where animals make their home, and from which life-giving waters flow.
Our Winter brings the cane harvest and my nostalgic reflections and appreciations take me to the time of our cane pioneers and the history this region evolved from.
And still...groaning engines and rattling carriages meander through our neighbourhoods while the earthy, sweet mill steam billows across our valley.
Once you've had a taste of the tropics how could you live anywhere else.

This journal reflection honours our home with appreciation and gratitude.

Hello to all friends and
It's that time of year to give you an update regarding my Studio schedule for 2025.

Kids sessions will resume Week 2 of school term, to give families a chance to settle into the new year before the mayhem of racing around to after school activities.
Session times will remain unchanged and will follow this schedule:

Monday Juniors: 8-11yrs
4-6pm, $18/wk
**EDIT: CLASS FULL**

Tuesday Youth: 11+ yrs
(8-11yrs may attend since Monday is full).
4-6pm, $18/wk

Wednesday Kiddies: 5-8yrs (Prep+)
4-5:15pm, $12/wk

Release thoughts that don't serve you well, forgive what has hurt you, and immerse yourself in gratitude for the blessings that the past year has gifted you. 🙏🏼

The New Year will soon be upon us bringing hope and fresh opportunities to try new experiences, meet new people and follow your heart's desires.

Our parents and kids came together for an end of year evening celebration. They created their Christmas project together by designing and painting their own Christmas paper, cutting it into strips, sharing those with the other parents and kids, then creating a collage Christmas tree.
The result was so beautiful.

Gratitude Journey Day 7-8 / 28

What a busy week!!!
Every night this week we're having an end of year celebration with the kids and their parents/grandies, and the adults.

The last two nights celebrations were for the Monday Juniors and the Tuesday Youth Kids. It felt so special to see kids creating alongside their parents - sharing ideas, colours, layouts, techniques.

I feel so grateful that these beautiful kids and their parents are in my life.
And I am grateful that I'm in a position to be able to host a happy 'end of year' celebration like this.
I often feel like I have the best job in the world. 🤗

Gratitude Journey Day 5 / 28

Our youngest turned 15 today.
Here he is with his Dad, brother and best mates smashing some balls at the Golf Club.
They are great kids and I feel so blessed to have them in our lives.

Any time we have these lads over is a happy and memorable occasion for me, but especially so on our son's birthday. I am so grateful for this happy celebration.
