Looking to sharpen your clinical skills or meet your registrar requirements? 🎓
Clinical Supervision is a structured, formal process designed to help ensure that psychological services meet high standards of ethical practice and clinical effectiveness.
For those completing a professional program, such as a registrar program, your supervision needs to be delivered by a Board-Approved Supervisor, a mark of training and experience required by the Psychology Board of Australia. We are proud to have EIGHT Board-Approved Supervisors on the My Psych Clinic team, offering diverse knowledge and support.
Clinical supervision benefits both psychologists and clients:
👉Professional growth: Psychologists receive direct guidance on complex cases and ethical dilemmas; ensures continuous skill development and integration of contemporary clinical practice.
👍Clients receives treatment from a psychologist who is staying current with strategies based on recent scientific evidence and professional ethics.
👉Provides a space for psychologists to prevent burnout and ensures adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Supervision is a key element in our quality assurance programs, which is designed to support our practitioners in developing their skills, improving clinical practice, and promoting efficient, effective functioning. Using these frameworks, My Psych Clinic aims that every psychologist is best placed to deliver ethical care to clients.
