Strong headline, APA. Thank you to those who are working tirelessly to collate and reveal the inaccuracies that have been used by the NDIA in an attempt to undermine and undervalue our Physiotherapy profession.

Please read about the situation, sign this petition to highlight NDIA’s flawed conclusions and help us to abolish the cut and fix the freeze.

This is a brilliant infographic put together by a stellar team of Physiotherapy clinicians.

Fact #1 #2 and #3 are the most salient takeaways for our team who manage patients with persistent post-concussion symptoms.

Thank you Australian Physiotherapy Association

Physiotherapists are well-positioned to care for athletes, people participating in community sport, or for patients in primary care who have sustained a concussion.

This month’s 5 facts cover persistent post-concussion symptoms, thanks to Katie Davies APAM, Megan Hamilton MACP, James McLoughlin MACP and Emma Warner MACP of the APA’s Neurology group for putting this information together.

This infographic is a Physiotherapy Research Foundation (PRF) initiative supported by FlexEze Heat Wrap Therapy – partner of the PRF.

Based on clinical evidence, our exercise group designed for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease is in full swing every Friday from 12-1pm. Currently offered at our Eight Mile Plains location, we think it is the highlight of EP Luke’s whole week.
Judging from the level of engagement in the photos, it might also be the case for our fabulous group participants🌟🌟🌟

Thanks Parkinson's QLD for having Anastasia and Luke from our team for a chat and a cupcake on World Parkinson’s Day.

What a yummy way to spread awareness about this important neuro-degenerative condition. 🧁🧁🧁

Today is World Parkinson's Day. More than 220,000 Australians are living with Parkinson's. In Queensland that number is somewhere between 18,000 and 20,000. Each year more than 2,000 Queenslanders hear the words "you have Parkinson's".
It is now the fastest growing neuro degenerative condition in world for which there is no cure, so it's likely that you will know someone living with Parkinson's.
Please help us support people affected by Parkinson's by supporting our Parkinson's Awareness Month activities or by making a donation, simply go to www.parkinsonsqld.org.au to find out more.
